In short, an anti-fog lens cloth is a lens cloth with anti-fog function. After wiping the lens with it, it has the effect of preventing the lens from fogging.
Why the lens fogging?
Before we explore how it works, we need to know why our eyewear lens fogging.
When the water vapor in the air is cooled and liquefied, the small mist droplets formed are attached to the lens, making the line of sight blurred. This is a liquefaction phenomenon. (Liquefaction refers to the process by which a substance changes from a gaseous state to a liquid state).
After a period of time, the lens temperature rises, the small water droplets evaporate again, and the “fog” disappears.
For example, in cold winter, when people enter the room from the outside, and the indoor water vapor meets the cold lens, the lens will produce the phenomenon of fog. Or in summer, people go out of the air-conditioned room and enter the hot outdoor. When the outdoor hot air is cold, the lens will also undergo a liquefaction reaction to “fog”. But the lens heated up and the “fog” disappeared soon..
Some common liquefaction situations in life: Condensed water is generated when the air conditioner is cooled; water droplets will appear on the things just taken out of the refrigerator; There here may be water on the inner layer of the window in winter.
How does it work?
When you use the anti-fog microfiber lens cloth, the anti-fog agent will adhere to the surface of the lens, thus reducing the tension on the surface of the lens. It can make the water vapor form a uniform distribution of the thin layer of water film so that preventing water vapor from condensing into tiny droplets that obstruct the line of sight, in this way, your lens is free from fog.
Features
- Anti-fog, aiming at the fogging phenomenon of the lens in different environments;
- The long-lasting effect, single-use, anti-fog effect for more than 24hrs;
- Alcohol-free, it’s safer for human health and avoids transportation restrictions caused by alcohol content;
- The antibacterial effect, it’s extra protection for your eye health

Application
- Applicable to most lenses, such as coated lenses, resin lenses, superhydrophobic coating lenses, goggles, swimming goggles (painted on the inside), diving goggles, helmets, protective masks, etc.
- For the new superhydrophobic coating lens, the surface is too dense and smooth, which is not conducive to the adhesion of the anti-fogging agent, and the anfi-fog effect is not significant. After a period of use, the anti-fog agent will be easily attached due to wear and tear, and the effect will be better.
- Do not use contact lenses.
